I would check, but I think they have a brunch the first Sunday of every month. This includes music and karaoke in the courtyard til 1900. The day before, there was also a kids bday party all day. So it wasn't the quietest place for the two days we stayed. Loved it otherwise. Decent food, good pizza, great service. Don't get the grilled steak/filet. Beautiful setting. Air conditioning. Fridge.

A great base in Moshi
We were based at Weru Weru as a World Challenhe team so were camping in the large area behind the main garden/pool area. The campsite has 3 hot/cold showers, 2 flushing toilets, 2 sinks/hand basins, a mirror and washing up facilities. There is limited charging at the bar area. A flock of white geese/ducks lives in the field and provide funny entertainment as they waddle about and splash in their pool! Site feels safe, it has gated with security and well lit. Our stay was catered and the food was very good.

Good place to stay, off the grid. Just don't expect internet.
Nice place, rooms are comfortable and, while not new, bathrooms have been recently renovated. Good food (buffet style and you can also order pizzas etc.) and attentive bar service with beer, wine and cocktails. The wifi is very bad and doesn't work at all in rooms, which makes it a challenge to share your Kili photos.

Beautiful place to stay before climbing Mt Kilimanjaro.
Staff was very pleasant, hospitable, and friendly. Grounds were amazingly beautiful and well kept. Full bar and great food options. Rooms were basic, but extremely comfortable. Shower had hot water and good water pressure. To top it off, the pool area was divine.

A wonderful stay at Weru Weru!
Thank you for a lovely stay during the SeroSelectTB national project conference by KCMUCo in Moshi. All of the participants had a wonderful time at Weru Weru River Lodge. The rooms are very comfortable and the second floor rooms are exceptional! The food and service are excellent! We will return for our final consortium meeting in September 2025! Variable and not always good
The lodge is spacious, clean and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, the WiFi is rather poor and unstable, there were also repeated power outages, a dripping drain in the bathroom was not properly turned off until we left, so the bathroom was always wet, the friendliness of the staff in the restaurant area and the selection of food were variable. Overall, we have had much better experiences in Tanzania and the region.

Perfect place around Moshi…!!!!!
I stay now 8 weeks in North-Tanzania, this is the BEST PLACE….this is exellent..!!!!!!!!! I cycled more than 2.000 km, this is the best place for relaxing…. Rooms are perfect, i can not say 1 bad word…..shower….bed…. PERFECT… .enough space, balcony is very nice, I spend there many hours…. Staff are very helpfull, friendly, they will always help you…. For a sportman like me, breakfast is important : also breakfast is excellent..!!!!! You have everything for a healthy breakfast……. Weru Weru River Lodge is situated in the middle of the beautiful green nature of North-Tanzania with perfect view of the Mount Kilimanjaro…. Next time I will come back here…..

I’ll be back
Stunning setting, great food, cleaner than a pin. Just perfect place to visit pre/post Kilimanjaro climb. Brilliant massage facilities. Everyone is friendly and caring, nothing is too much trouble. I felt cherished.

Decent value, decent place
Old building with lots of things falling apart and not working...practically no WIFI, coffee maker did not work, loud music in the bar playing until midnight to celebrate people coming off successful hikes to Kilimanjaro without any regard for the people starting up the next morning. But OK value for the price

Everything was perfect. The best thing: everyone was super nice! It was also my birthday and the whole team sang loudly for me. That was also really cool! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bar is a great place to relax.

Kilimanjaro
We were on Kilimanjaro and were 4 Nights in the Weru Weru Lodge. The Food is good, the Kilimanjaro Beer is very good an the people are very friendly. The massage before and after Kilimanjaro was just perfect. I was ab very good Hotel to stay and we will come back.
